Yoga – Beginners Level


Yoga is a group of physical, mental and spiritual practices of disciplines which originated at ancient India. It is a 5000 year old Indian body of knowledge. If  it’s performed in the correct manner, yoga can help you to stay in good shape, and can also be helpful in treating certain medical disorders. To avoid injury, keep in mind when you start to occupy a certain position slowly must take a deep breath.  Here are some of the basic yoga poses and how to do it properly.

Warrior 1

Hand is stretched out parallel to the floor and legs are spaced, the fingers of yours right foot turn outwards, bend your right knee so that it will be  above the right ankle. Watch over the right hands and repeat the exercise.

Warrior 2

Raise your hands above your head, right foot stepped forward so the knee is above article. Slowly bend your back. Step left foot and lower your arms to exit this position.


Stand tall with feet together, shoulders relaxed, weight evenly distributed through your soles, arms at sides. Take a deep breath and raise your hands overhead, palms facing each other with arm straight. Reach up toward the sky with your fingertips.


Lie facedown on the floor with thumbs directly under shoulders, legs extended with the tops of your feet on the floor. Tighten your pelvic floor, and tuck hips downward as you squeeze your glutes. Press shoulders down and away from ears. Push through your thumbs and index fingers as you raise your chest toward the wall in front of you. Relax and repeat.
